Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs center-cut salmon fillets, skin-on
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar, packed
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper.
  2. Use a paper towel to pat the salmon fillets completely dry on all sides. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, brown sugar, soy sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, and melted butter until smooth and glossy.
  4. Brush a generous layer of the glaze over the top and sides of each fillet.
  5. Place the fillets on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes.
  6. Turn the oven to Broil for the final 2 minutes, watching closely until the glaze bubbles and turns a deep mahogany brown.
  7. Remove from the oven when the internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare/medium.
