Ingredients:

  • 4 oz Prosciutto di Parma, thinly sliced
  • 5 oz Salami Milano
  • 7 oz Triple Cream Brie, whole wheel
  • 5 oz Aged White Cheddar, cubed or heart-shaped
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, halved vertically
  • 0.5 cup fresh raspberries
  • 3.5 oz dark chocolate bark, broken into shards
  • 0.5 cup red and pink macarons
  • 3 oz honey or raspberry jam
  • 0.5 cup candied pecans
  • 150 g assorted crackers
  • 0.25 cup Valentine's Day heart-shaped candy

Instructions:

  1. Place the larger 'anchor' items first. Position the whole wheel of Brie and the ramekin of honey or jam on opposite sides of the board to create balance.
  2. Create a 'Salami Rose' by folding Salami Milano slices over the rim of a wine glass in overlapping layers, then invert onto the board.
  3. Ruffle the Prosciutto di Parma into ribbon-like shapes and place them near the cheeses.
  4. Arrange the aged white cheddar cubes or heart-cutouts in a cluster near the center.
  5. Create a 'river' of crackers and strawberries across the board to guide the eye and separate the savory and sweet sections.
  6. Fill the remaining gaps with raspberries, dark chocolate shards, macarons, and candied pecans.
  7. Garnish with Valentine's Day candies for a final festive touch.
  8. Allow the board to sit for 10 minutes before serving.
