Ingredients:
- 24 individual mini twist pretzels
- 0.5 cup high-quality semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp Valentine's themed micro-sprinkles
- 0.25 cup white chocolate drizzle
- 0.5 tsp flaky sea salt
Instructions:
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Note: This prevents the chocolate from bonding to your pans.
- Arrange the pretzels. Place 24 individual mini twist pretzels in rows, making sure they don't touch.
- Melt the chocolate. Heat 0.5 cup semi sweet chocolate chips in 30 second intervals. Cook 2 mins until glossy and smooth.
- Fill the loops. Use a small spoon to carefully drop chocolate into the two top loops of the pretzel. Note: Gravity will pull the chocolate down into a natural heart shape.
- Add the drizzle. Melt 0.25 cup white chocolate and zig zag it across the hearts. Apply until a fine pattern appears.
- Apply the sprinkles. Shake 2 tbsp Valentine's themed micro sprinkles over the wet chocolate.
- Season with salt. Sprinkle 0.5 tsp flaky sea salt evenly over all 24 servings.
- Set the treats. Let the tray sit at room temperature for 30 minutes. Wait until the chocolate is firm to the touch.
- Final inspection. Gently lift one pretzel to ensure the bottom is solid and the heart is secure.
- Serve or gift. Place the snacks into jars or a serving bowl for your community to enjoy.
