Ingredients:
- 4 cups fresh or frozen green beans, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- ½ cup milk
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce (optional)
- 1 cup crispy fried onions, divided
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and cook for 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
- In the same bowl, add the boiled green beans and ½ cup of crispy fried onions. Stir to coat evenly.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Spread evenly and top with the remaining fried onions.
- Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving; enjoy!
