Ingredients:
- 1 pound (450g) ground beef, browned and drained
- 1 (15 ounce/425g) can chili beans, undrained
- 1 (10 ounce/285g) can diced tomatoes and green chilies (like Rotel), undrained
- 1 (8 ounce/225g) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup (100g) shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup (50g) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/4 cup (20g) chopped green onions, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat; drain excess grease.
- In a mixing bowl, combine browned ground beef, chili beans, and diced tomatoes and green chilies.
- Spread softened cream cheese in the bottom of the baking dish.
- Pour the beef mixture over the cream cheese.
- Sprinkle with cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Sprinkle with green onions (optional).
- Serve hot with tortilla chips, crackers, or veggies.
