- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (US: 1.25 mL; Metric: 1.25 mL)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 large flour tortillas (US: 10-12 inch diameter; Metric: 25-30 cm diameter)
- 4 slices thick-cut bacon (US: about 4 oz; Metric: 115g)
- 6 ounces (US: 170g; Metric: 170g) thinly sliced cooked turkey breast
- 1/4 cup (US: 60 mL; Metric: 60 mL) mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon (US: 15 mL; Metric: 15 mL) Dijon mustard
- 1/2 cup (US: 50g; Metric: 50g) shredded lettuce (Romaine or iceberg recommended)
- 1 medium tomato, sliced (US: about 4oz; Metric: 115g)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Avocado Spread: Mash the avocado in a small bowl. Stir in lime juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
- Cook the Bacon: Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels and crumble or break into smaller pieces.
- Toast the Tortillas: Lightly toast the tortillas in the same skillet used for bacon, ensuring even browning. This warms them and adds flavour.
- Assemble the Wraps: Spread avocado spread evenly over each tortilla. In a separate small bowl, combine mayonnaise and Dijon mustard. Spread the mayonnaise mixture over the avocado. Layer turkey, bacon, lettuce, and tomato slices over the mayonnaise.
- Wrap it Up: Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then tightly roll it up from the bottom.
- Slice and Serve: Slice each wrap in half on a diagonal and serve immediately.
