Ingredients:
- 2 oz (60ml) Vodka (High-quality, such as Grey Goose or Belvedere)
- 1 oz (30ml) Freshly Brewed Espresso (cooled)
- ¾ oz (22.5 ml) Coffee Liqueur (Kahlúa or Tia Maria)
- ½ oz (15 ml) Simple Syrup (equal parts sugar and water, heated and cooled)
- 3-4 Ice Cubes (large, preferably)
- 3 Coffee Beans (whole, optional)
Instructions:
- Chill Your Glass: Place your martini glass in the freezer for at least 15 minutes.
- Brew and Cool Espresso: Brew a double shot of espresso and let it cool slightly.
- Combine Ingredients: Add vodka, cooled espresso, coffee liqueur, and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker.
- Add Ice: Fill the shaker with ice cubes.
- Shake Vigorously: Seal the shaker tightly and shake hard for 15-20 seconds.
- Strain into Glass: Double-strain the mixture through a Hawthorne strainer (or a fine-mesh sieve) into your chilled martini glass.
- Garnish: Garnish with 3 coffee beans, arranged artfully on top of the foam.
