Ingredients:
- 1 ripe banana, peeled
- 1/3 cup vanilla ice cream
- 1/3 cup chocolate ice cream
- 1/3 cup strawberry ice cream
- 2 tablespoons chocolate sauce
- 2 tablespoons strawberry sauce
- 2 tablespoons pineapple chunks, drained
- 2 tablespoons chopped nuts, toasted
- 2 tablespoons whipped cream
- 3 maraschino cherries, with stems
- Sprinkles (optional)
Instructions:
- Peel the banana and slice it lengthwise.
- Place the banana halves in the banana split boat, curved sides facing outwards.
- Place a scoop of vanilla ice cream between the banana halves, then a scoop of chocolate, and then a scoop of strawberry.
- Drizzle chocolate sauce over the vanilla ice cream and strawberry sauce over the strawberry ice cream.
- Sprinkle the pineapple chunks over the chocolate ice cream.
- Sprinkle the chopped nuts over the entire split.
- Pipe or spoon whipped cream over the top of the split, between the ice cream scoops.
- Place a maraschino cherry on top of each scoop of ice cream.
