Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240ml) unsweetened almond milk
- 1 cup (30g) fresh kale, stems removed and chopped
- 1/2 frozen banana (60g)
- 1/2 cup (75g) frozen mixed berries
- 1 scoop (30g) vanilla protein powder
- 1/4 cup (60g) plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) almond butter
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) chia seeds (optional)
- Ice cubes (optional)
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) honey or maple syrup (optional)
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients (almond milk, kale, banana, berries, protein powder, Greek yogurt, almond butter, chia seeds, and optional honey/maple syrup) to the blender.
- Blend on high speed until completely smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
- If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash more almond milk. If it's too thin, add a few more frozen berries or a couple of ice cubes and blend again.
- Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness to your liking. Add a touch more honey or maple syrup if needed.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.
