Ingredients:

  • 4 large eggs
  • Water (enough to cover the eggs)

Instructions:

  1. Gather eggs and water.
  2. Fill the pot with enough water to cover the eggs by about an inch.
  3. Place the pot on the stove over high heat and bring the water to a rolling boil.
  4. Once boiling, gently lower 4 eggs into the water using a slotted spoon. Cook for 4-6 minutes for soft boiled eggs.
  5. Following the same steps, lower 4 eggs into the boiling water for hard boiled eggs. Cook for 9-12 minutes.
  6. In a separate bowl, prepare an ice bath while the eggs are cooking.
  7. Once cooked, remove eggs from boiling water and immediately place them in the ice bath for 5-10 minutes.
  8. Gently tap the eggs to crack the shell and peel under running water if needed. Serve as desired!
