Ingredients:

  • 1 Ciabatta Roll
  • 4 oz High-Quality Mortadella, thinly sliced
  • 2 oz Provolone Cheese, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Tapenade
  • 1 tablespoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Optional: Arugula or other leafy greens

Instructions:

  1. Slice the ciabatta roll horizontally. If desired, lightly toast the cut sides in a toaster or panini press until golden brown.
  2. Spread the olive tapenade evenly on one or both cut sides of the bread.
  3. Arrange the provolone cheese slices on top of the tapenade.
  4. Layer the mortadella slices on top of the cheese, creating a generous pile.
  5. If using, add a handful of arugula or other leafy greens on top of the mortadella.
  6. Lightly drizzle the mortadella (and greens, if using) with extra virgin olive oil.
  7. Close the sandwich with the other half of the ciabatta roll. Cut in half (optional) and serve immediately.
