Ingredients:
- Large Eggs (as many as desired)
- Water (enough to cover the eggs)
Instructions:
- Gently place the eggs in a single layer in the saucepan.
- Add cold water until the eggs are submerged by about 1 inch / 2.5 cm.
- Bring the water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.
- Once boiling, immediately turn off the heat, cover the saucepan with a lid.
- Let the eggs stand in the hot water for 10-12 minutes, depending on desired yolk consistency.
- While eggs are standing, fill a large bowl with ice and cold water.
- After the standing time, carefully transfer the eggs to the ice bath using a slotted spoon or tongs.
- Let the eggs cool completely in the ice bath for at least 10 minutes.
- Gently crack the eggshells all over. Then, peel the eggs under cool running water, starting from the larger end.
