Ingredients:
- ½ cup honey
- ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 ½ pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, and sesame oil. Whisk until well blended. Season the chicken with salt and pepper, and add it to the marinade. Let it sit for at least 15 minutes.
- Place a large skillet over medium-high heat and add vegetable oil.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and add it to the hot skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Pour the reserved marinade into the skillet after the chicken is cooked. Bring to a boil and allow the sauce to thicken for about 3-5 minutes.
- Plate the chicken, drizzle with sauce, and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
