Ingredients:

  • 2 oz (60ml) Tequila Blanco (Silver tequila)
  • 1 oz (30ml) Fresh Lime Juice
  • 0.75 oz (22ml) Agave Nectar (or simple syrup)
  • 1/2 cup (approximately 80g) Fresh Mango, diced
  • 1/4 - 1/2 small Fresh Red Chili, thinly sliced (adjust to your spice preference)
  • Optional: Tajin seasoning for rimming the glass
  • Ice cubes

Instructions:

  1. In the cocktail shaker, muddle the diced mango and sliced chili until well mashed.
  2. Add the tequila, lime juice, and agave nectar to the shaker.
  3. Fill the shaker with ice cubes.
  4. Close the shaker tightly and shake well for 15-20 seconds, until well chilled.
  5. If desired, rim the glass with Tajin seasoning. To do this, rub a lime wedge around the rim and then dip it into a shallow dish of Tajin.
  6. Double strain the margarita into the prepared glass filled with fresh ice.
  7. Garnish with a mango slice and a chili slice.
