Ingredients:
- 2 (6-ounce/170g each) salmon fillets, skin on or off
- 1 tablespoon/15ml olive oil
- 1 tablespoon/15ml lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 teaspoon/5ml dried herbs de Provence
- 1/4 teaspoon/1.25ml salt
- 1/4 teaspoon/1.25ml black pepper
- 1/2 lemon, thinly sliced (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your broiler to high. Position a rack 4-6 inches below the broiler element.
- Line a baking sheet with foil (optional) for easier cleanup.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, herbs de Provence, salt, and pepper.
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the marinade evenly over the top of each fillet.
- Broil for 5-7 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Garnish with lemon slices (if using). Serve immediately.
