Ingredients:

  • 1 tub (8 oz) Whipped Topping (Cool Whip), thawed
  • 1 large Egg, room temperature
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar (for coating)
  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar (for coating)

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, thawed whipped topping, egg, and vanilla extract. Fold gently with a silicone spatula until no dry streaks of flour remain.
  2. Place the sticky dough in the refrigerator and chill for at least 30 minutes to make it easier to handle.
  3. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  4. Using a 1.5 tablespoon cookie scoop, portion the dough into balls.
  5. Roll each ball first in granulated sugar, then heavily in powdered sugar to ensure a distinct crinkle effect.
  6. Place on baking sheets and bake for 10 minutes until the edges are set but the centers remain soft.
