Ingredients:

  • 4 cups fresh or frozen corn kernels
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley or chives for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add heavy cream, milk, and cream cheese; whisk until smooth.
  4. Stir in corn kernels, sugar (if using), garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Fold in shredded cheddar cheese until evenly combined.
  6. Pour the corn mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown on top.
  8. Remove from oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley or chives, and serve warm.
