Ingredients:
- 4 cups fresh or frozen corn kernels
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons sugar (optional)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley or chives for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add heavy cream, milk, and cream cheese; whisk until smooth.
- Stir in corn kernels, sugar (if using), garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Fold in shredded cheddar cheese until evenly combined.
- Pour the corn mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown on top.
- Remove from oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley or chives, and serve warm.
