Ingredients:

  • 300g fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium carrot, julienned
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Wash and trim the green beans. Slice the bell pepper and onion; julienne the carrot. Mince the garlic and grate the ginger.
  2. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Set aside.
  3. In a wok or large frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the garlic and ginger to the pan; sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add the onion, carrot, and bell pepper; stir fry for about 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.
  6. Toss in the green beans and continue to cook for another 3-4 minutes until vibrant and tender-crisp.
  7. Pour the sauce mixture over the vegetables; stir to coat and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with sesame seeds if desired before serving.
