Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (240g) Powdered Sugar, sifted
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) Milk
  • 2 tablespoons (30g) Unsalted Butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) Vanilla Extract
  • Pinch of Salt

Instructions:

  1. Sift the powdered sugar into the mixing bowl to avoid lumps.
  2. Melt the butter in the microwave or on the stovetop and let cool slightly.
  3. In the bowl with the sifted sugar, add the melted butter, milk, vanilla extract, and salt.
  4. Whisk the ingredients together until smooth and glossy. Add more milk, 1 teaspoon at a time, if the glaze is too thick.
  5. Dip the tops of your cooled donuts into the glaze, letting the excess drip off. Place the glazed donuts on a wire rack to set.
  6. Allow the glaze to set for about 15-20 minutes, or until it's no longer tacky to the touch.
