- 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece ginger, minced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced (red or green)
- 1/4 cup oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons cold water
Instructions:
- In a bowl, combine flank steak, soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil. Mix well and set aside for at least 10 minutes.

- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil, add broccoli, and cook for 1-2 minutes. Quickly transfer to ice water to halt cooking.

- In the same wok, add garlic, ginger, and bell pepper; stir-fry for about 1 minute.
- Return the beef and blanched broccoli to the wok. Pour in the sauce and bring to a simmer.
- Add the cornstarch slurry and stir continuously for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Spoon the stir-fry into bowls, serving hot with rice.
