- 2 tablespoons (30ml) olive oil
- 2 tablespoons (15g) nutritional yeast
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon (15g) fresh basil, chopped (optional for garnish)
Instructions:
- Drain and press tofu to remove excess moisture.
- Crumble tofu into a mixing bowl using a fork or masher until desired feta-like texture is achieved.
- Add lemon juice, olive oil, nutritional yeast, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to the bowl.
- Stir gently to combine, ensuring tofu is well-coated.
- Taste the mixture and adjust seasoning as desired.
- For enhanced flavors, let the tofu feta sit for at least 10 minutes to marinate or refrigerate for up to 1 hour.
