Ingredients:
- 2 ounces (60 ml) Vodka
- 1 ounce (30 ml) Coffee Liqueur (Kahlúa)
- 2 ounces (60 ml) Heavy Cream (or coconut cream)
- 1 ounce (30 ml) Pumpkin Spice Syrup
- Ice Cubes
- 1 cup (200 g) Water (for syrup)
- 1 cup (200 g) Granulated Sugar (for syrup)
- 1/4 cup (60 g) Pumpkin Puree (for syrup)
- 1 teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice (for syrup)
- 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract (for syrup)
- Ground Cinnamon (for garnish)
- Star Anise (for garnish)
- Cinnamon Stick (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Make Pumpkin Spice Syrup (Optional): Combine water and sugar in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Add pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Let cool completely before using.
- Prepare the Cocktail: Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Add Ingredients: Pour vodka, coffee liqueur, heavy cream (or coconut cream), and pumpkin spice syrup into the shaker.
- Shake Well: Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until well-chilled.
- Strain and Serve: Strain the cocktail into a chilled cocktail glass filled with ice.
- Garnish (Optional): Garnish with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon, a star anise, or a cinnamon stick. These pumpkin cocktails are amazing.
