Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces (60 ml) Vodka
  • 1 ounce (30 ml) Coffee Liqueur (Kahlúa)
  • 2 ounces (60 ml) Heavy Cream (or coconut cream)
  • 1 ounce (30 ml) Pumpkin Spice Syrup
  • Ice Cubes
  • 1 cup (200 g) Water (for syrup)
  • 1 cup (200 g) Granulated Sugar (for syrup)
  • 1/4 cup (60 g) Pumpkin Puree (for syrup)
  • 1 teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice (for syrup)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract (for syrup)
  • Ground Cinnamon (for garnish)
  • Star Anise (for garnish)
  • Cinnamon Stick (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Make Pumpkin Spice Syrup (Optional): Combine water and sugar in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves. Add pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Let cool completely before using.
  2. Prepare the Cocktail: Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  3. Add Ingredients: Pour vodka, coffee liqueur, heavy cream (or coconut cream), and pumpkin spice syrup into the shaker.
  4. Shake Well: Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until well-chilled.
  5. Strain and Serve: Strain the cocktail into a chilled cocktail glass filled with ice.
  6. Garnish (Optional): Garnish with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon, a star anise, or a cinnamon stick. These pumpkin cocktails are amazing.
