Ingredients:

  • 115g (4 oz) blue cheese, crumbled
  • 115g (1/2 cup) sour cream
  • 60g (1/4 cup) mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Place the blue cheese into a mixing bowl. Use a fork to further crumble it into smaller pieces if needed.
  2. Add the sour cream, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, and lemon juice to the bowl with the blue cheese.
  3. Gently combine all ingredients until well blended, but don't overmix. A little bit of texture is welcome.
  4. Add the chopped parsley, chives, and black pepper to the mixture.
  5. Give the dip a taste and adjust seasoning as needed. You might want a touch more lemon juice or a pinch of salt if your blue cheese isn't particularly salty.
  6. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (longer is better!) to allow the flavors to meld.
  7. Remove from fridge 10 minutes before serving. Give it a little stir and serve the best ever blue cheese dip!
