Ingredients:

  • 2 oz (56g) deli turkey breast, cubed
  • 1 oz (28g) mild cheddar cheese, cubed
  • 2 tbsp (30g) hummus
  • 15g whole grain crackers
  • 1 mini whole-wheat muffin (30g)
  • 1/4 cup (37g) blueberries
  • 1/4 cup (40g) cucumber, sliced
  • 20g baby carrots, sliced lengthwise
  • 2 tbsp (30g) diced pineapple

Instructions:

  1. Use small cookie cutters to turn the cheese and turkey into stars or hearts. Slice the cucumbers into thin half-moons and slice the baby carrots lengthwise into thin strips for safety.
  2. Place the hummus in the smallest compartment of the bento box. Fill the largest section with the turkey and cheese stars, and place the mini muffin and crackers in the remaining medium slots.
  3. Fill the remaining gaps with blueberries and pineapple, then tuck the cucumber and carrot strips around the hummus compartment.
