Ingredients:

  • 1 (16 ounce/454g) bag frozen broccoli florets, thawed slightly
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (30ml)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 teaspoon garlic powder)
  • ½ teaspoon salt (2.5g)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper (1.25g)
  • Optional: ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (1.25g)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lightly thaw the broccoli florets and pat them very dry with paper towels.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the broccoli with olive oil, minced garlic (or garlic powder), salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Make sure every floret is coated!
  4. Spread the broccoli in a single layer on the baking sheet. Avoid overcrowding.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the broccoli is tender-crisp and lightly browned, flipping halfway through for even cooking.
  6. Serve immediately while it's still hot and crispy.
