Ingredients:
- 1 large head of broccoli (about 1.5 lbs / 680g), cut into florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (30ml)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (approximately 1 teaspoon/5g)
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional) (1g)
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt (3g)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (1g)
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (15ml)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper (if using).
- In a large bowl, combine the broccoli florets, olive oil, minced garlic, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Toss well to ensure all florets are evenly coated.
- Spread the broccoli in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure they aren't overcrowding! Roast for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the broccoli is tender-crisp and golden brown on the edges.
- Remove from the oven and immediately drizzle with fresh lemon juice. Toss gently to coat. Serve hot.
