Ingredients:

- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika (optional, for color)
- Optional: Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme) for flavouring
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika (if using).
- Brush the chicken breasts with the olive oil mixture, ensuring even coverage.
- Place chicken breasts on a baking sheet (lined with foil or parchment paper for easier cleanup).
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) when measured with a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the breast.
- Remove from oven and let rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
