Ingredients:
- 1 cup (160g) old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1/2 cup (125g) creamy natural peanut butter
- 1/3 cup (110g) raw honey
- 1/4 tsp (1.5g) sea salt
- 1/4 cup (35g) chia seeds
- 1/4 cup (40g) mini dark chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the peanut butter and honey. Heat for 30 seconds until the mixture becomes fluid and glossy, then stir in the sea salt.
- Pour the wet mixture over the rolled oats, chia seeds, and chocolate chips. Fold together with a spatula until all oats are evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan and press down firmly with a spoon or parchment paper until the surface is flat and compact.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until the bars are firm to the touch before slicing.
