Ingredients:

  • 2 large ripe bananas, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup (120g) natural, xylitol-free peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) plain, unsweetened yogurt (Greek or regular)

Instructions:

  1. Peel and roughly chop the ripe bananas into chunks.
  2. Combine the chopped bananas, natural peanut butter, and plain yogurt into a high-powered blender or food processor.
  3. Process the mixture until it is completely smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides of the blender as necessary to ensure no banana lumps remain.
  4. Carefully spoon or pour the mixture into silicone molds or small, sturdy paper cups, leaving a little headroom for expansion.
  5. If using cups, insert a popsicle stick halfway through the mixture.
  6. Place the molds flat in the freezer for a minimum of 4 hours, or until completely frozen solid.
  7. To serve, briefly run the bottom of the mold under warm (not hot) water to help release the frozen treat. Serve immediately to your dog.
