Ingredients:
- 1 cup (150g) Medjool dates, pitted
- 1/2 cup (65g) raw walnuts
- 1/3 cup (30g) raw cacao powder
- 2 tbsp (32g) creamy almond butter
- 1 tsp (5ml) pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp (1.5g) sea salt
Instructions:
- Place the walnuts in the food processor and pulse until they reach a fine, sandy consistency.
- Add the pitted dates, cacao powder, almond butter, vanilla, and salt. Process on high, scraping the sides every 30 seconds, until the mixture transforms into a thick, sticky paste that clumps together.
- Scoop approximately 1 tablespoon of the mixture at a time and roll the dough between your palms to form smooth, uniform spheres.
- Place the spheres on a parchment-lined tray.
- Transfer the tray to the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the fats to solidify and the bites to firm up.
