Ingredients:
- 1 box (14.4 oz) graham crackers (400g)
- 1 cup (2 sticks/226g) unsalted butter
- 1 cup (200g) packed brown sugar
- 2 cups (12 oz/340g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup (150g) holiday-themed sprinkles (or crushed candies)
- ½ cup (75g) chopped nuts (optional - pecans or almonds)
- Sea salt for sprinkling (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line the baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange a single layer of graham crackers, breaking them if necessary to fit.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring until smooth.
- Pour the butter-sugar mixture evenly over the graham crackers.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle the chocolate chips on top.
- Let sit for 5 minutes until the chocolate begins to melt, then use an offset spatula to spread it evenly.
- Top with sprinkles and nuts (if using) and a sprinkle of sea salt.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes until set.
- Cut into pieces and serve.
