Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 6 ounces each; 170g)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (30ml)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (2g)
- 1 teaspoon onion powder (2g)
- 1 teaspoon paprika (2g)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs (such as thyme or rosemary, optional)
- 1 lemon, juiced
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels to ensure a good sear. Place chicken in a mixing bowl and drizzle with olive oil.
- Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper over the chicken. Toss to coat evenly, adding lemon juice and fresh herbs if desired.
- Place seasoned chicken breasts on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Insert into the preheated oven. Bake for 20-30 minutes, using a meat thermometer to check doneness; internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
- Once done, rest the chicken for 5 minutes before slicing to allow juices to redistribute.
- Enjoy your perfectly baked chicken breast with your chosen sides.
