Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (90g) rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup (120g) over-ripe banana, mashed smooth
  • 1/4 cup (64g) almond butter
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) maple syrup
  • 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp (2g) ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp (1g) sea salt
  • 2 tbsp (30g) mini dark chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Mash the bananas in a medium mixing bowl until they reach a smooth, lump-free paste.
  2. Stir in the almond butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and sea salt.
  3. Gradually fold in the rolled oats until the mixture reaches a stiff, dough-like consistency.
  4. Fold in the mini dark chocolate chips to maintain their texture.
  5. Scoop approximately 1 tablespoon of dough and roll between your palms to form a smooth sphere.
  6. Place each ball on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes until firm to the touch.
