- 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 ¾ cups milk
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions:
- Preheat waffle maker according to manufacturers instructions.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs, then add in milk, melted butter, and vanilla. Mix until combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, and stir until just combined. (Some lumps are okay; do not over-mix.)
- Grease the waffle maker lightly if necessary. Pour the recommended batter amount onto the hot waffle maker. Close and cook until golden brown (about 5 minutes or until the indicator light signals).
- Carefully remove the waffle and serve hot with desired toppings.
