Ingredients:

  • 1 (14-ounce) can Sweetened Condensed Milk (Full-fat)
  • 1 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour (spooned and leveled)
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract (Optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt until fully combined.
  3. Pour the entire can of sweetened condensed milk (and vanilla extract, if using) into a large mixing bowl.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients. Use a rubber spatula or sturdy wooden spoon to mix until just combined. Stop mixing the moment you see no more dry streaks.
  5. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving about 2 inches between each dough ball.
  6. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. The edges should look faintly golden, but the centers should still appear soft and slightly underbaked.
  7. Remove trays from the oven. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a full 5 minutes to firm up before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
