Ingredients:
- 1 (14-ounce) can Sweetened Condensed Milk (Full-fat)
- 1 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour (spooned and leveled)
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract (Optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt until fully combined.
- Pour the entire can of sweetened condensed milk (and vanilla extract, if using) into a large mixing bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients. Use a rubber spatula or sturdy wooden spoon to mix until just combined. Stop mixing the moment you see no more dry streaks.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving about 2 inches between each dough ball.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. The edges should look faintly golden, but the centers should still appear soft and slightly underbaked.
- Remove trays from the oven. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a full 5 minutes to firm up before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
