Ingredients:
- 4 tablespoons (30g) all-purpose flour
- 4 tablespoons (20g) granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons (10g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons (45ml) milk
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons (28g) chocolate chips
Instructions:
- In the mug, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- Add the milk, oil, and vanilla extract to the mug.
- Stir with a fork until the batter is smooth and well combined. Be sure to scrape the bottom and sides of the mug.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Microwave on high for 1-2 minutes. Start with 1 minute and check for doneness. The cake should be mostly set, but still slightly gooey in the center.
- Let the mug cake cool for a minute or two before serving.
