Ingredients:
- 2 (6-ounce/170g each) salmon fillets, skin on or off
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup (15g) fresh dill, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon (1g) sea salt, or to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon (1g) black pepper, freshly ground, or to taste
- Optional: 1 tablespoon (15g) butter, cut into small pats
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper (if using).
- Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
- Top each salmon fillet with lemon slices and chopped fresh dill. Place a pat of butter on top of each fillet (if using).
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
- Serve immediately.
