Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (113g) Unsalted Butter, softened
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • Pinch of Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan Cheese (optional)
  • 6-8 slices Texas Toast bread (thick-cut)

Instructions:

  1. Combine softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, pepper, and parmesan cheese (if using) in a small mixing bowl. Mix well until thoroughly combined.
  2. Evenly spread the garlic butter mixture on one side of each slice of Texas Toast bread.
  3. Place the buttered bread slices on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy around the edges. Keep a close eye! OR Broil on low for 2-4 minutes, keeping a close watch to prevent burning.
  5. Serve the Texas Toast hot and fresh immediately.
