Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240 ml) Ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) Prepared Horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) Hot Sauce (Tabasco or similar)
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.25 ml) Smoked Paprika (optional)
  • Pinch of Black Pepper

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, smoked paprika (if using), and black pepper.
  2. Whisk all ingredients together until smooth.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning. Add more hot sauce for heat, lemon juice for tanginess, or horseradish for a bolder flavor.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (optional).
  5. Serve chilled with your favorite seafood. This cocktail sauce recipe is amazing with shrimps!
