Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 pounds (680 g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup (60 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) avocado oil
  • 1/3 cup (113 g) honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • Sliced green onions for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken pieces and toss to evenly coat.
  2. Heat avocado oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken pieces in a single layer in batches if necessary, for 6-8 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, and soy sauce. Reduce skillet heat to medium and pour the honey garlic mixture into the skillet. Cook the sauce, stirring constantly, for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened and glossy.
  4. Return cooked chicken to the skillet, tossing to coat evenly. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until thoroughly heated.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
