Ingredients:

  • 4 ears of fresh corn, in husks or shucked
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted (28g)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. If grilling in the husk: Soak corn in husks in cold water for at least 30 minutes, ensuring husks are fully submerged.
  2. If grilling shucked: Remove the husks and silk from the corn. Pat dry with a paper towel.
  3. Preheat grill to medium heat (around 350-450°F or 175-230°C).
  4. Grill the Corn (In Husk): Place soaked corn on the grill, close the lid, and grill for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until kernels are tender and husks are slightly charred. This is how to grill corn in husk.
  5. Grill the Corn (Shucked): Brush corn lightly with melted butter (or oil). Place corn directly on the grill grates. Grill for 8-12 minutes, turning every 2-3 minutes, until kernels are slightly charred and tender. This is how to grill corn shucked.
  6. Remove corn from the grill. If grilled in the husk, carefully peel back the husks (be careful of steam!). Brush with remaining melted butter (optional). Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
