Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup (175g) plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup (60g) frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 frozen banana (approx. 50g)
  • 1 tsp (5ml) pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp (5g) chia seeds
  • 1 tsp (5g) honey

Instructions:

  1. Pour the almond milk and Greek yogurt into the blender first to create a liquid base that helps the blades move.
  2. Add the frozen blueberries and frozen banana chunks to the blender.
  3. Pour in the vanilla extract, chia seeds, and honey.
  4. Secure the lid tightly and start the blender on the lowest setting to break the large frozen chunks.
  5. Slowly increase the speed to high and blend for 45-60 seconds until the mixture looks glossy and uniform.
  6. Stop the blender and stir with a spoon to check for any unblended berry skins.
  7. Check the thickness; if it's too thick to sip, add a splash more milk and blend for another 5 seconds.
  8. Let the smoothie sit for 2 minutes to allow the chia seeds to thicken the mixture.
