Ingredients:

  • 1 (3.9 ounce/110g) package instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups (475ml) cold milk (whole or 2%)
  • 1 ½ cups (150g) chocolate wafer cookies (like Oreos, without the cream filling), crushed into coarse crumbs
  • 6 Milano cookies
  • Black decorating icing
  • 6 gummy worms
  • Spooky Halloween sprinkles (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and milk until smooth. Let it set according to package directions.
  2. Place the chocolate wafer cookies in a Ziploc bag. Seal the bag and crush the cookies into coarse crumbs using a rolling pin or heavy object.
  3. Using the black decorating icing, write RIP or other spooky messages on the Milano cookies.
  4. Layer the pudding, cookie crumbs, and gummy worms in the clear cups. Start with a layer of cookie crumbs, then a layer of pudding, and repeat.
  5. Insert a Milano cookie (tombstone) into each cup.
  6. (Optional) Add spooky Halloween sprinkles for extra flair.
  7. Refrigerate the pudding cups for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
