Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450g) Sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • 4 tbsp (56g) Unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Dried thyme
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
  • Pinch Red pepper flakes

Instructions:

  1. Prep the Beef: Pat the beef cubes dry with paper towels. Toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  2. Sear the Beef: Heat the skillet over high heat until smoking hot. Add the beef cubes in a single layer. Sear for 1-2 minutes per side, until nicely browned. Remove from pan and set aside.
  3. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: Reduce heat to medium. Melt the butter in the same skillet. Add the garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.
  4. Combine and Simmer: Stir in the parsley, thyme, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes (if using). Bring to a simmer.
  5. Return the Beef: Add the seared beef cubes back to the skillet and toss to coat with the garlic butter sauce. Cook for another minute or two, until heated through and cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. Serve Immediately: Spoon the Garlic Butter Steak Bites onto a plate or bowl, and serve immediately.
