- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp water

- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions:
- Whisk together the honey, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic powder, and ginger in a bowl.
- Stir in the cornstarch slurry (cornstarch mixed with water) until the mixture is smooth and free of clumps.
- Cook your chosen protein or vegetable in the air fryer until they are 80% cooked through (starting to brown but not yet reached final internal temperature).
- Brush a generous layer of the glaze over the food.
- Air fry on high (400°F/200°C) for an additional 2–4 minutes until the glaze bubbles and transitions to a deep, sticky mahogany color.
- Remove from the basket immediately so the sugar doesn't seize.
- Sprinkle the toasted sesame seeds and red pepper flakes over the top while the glaze is still tacky.
