Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings, flats and drumettes separated
  • 1 tbsp aluminum-free baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp fine sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp avocado oil spray
  • 1/3 cup Frank's RedHot hot sauce
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions:

  1. Pat the chicken wings bone-dry using paper towels to ensure all surface moisture is removed.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, toss the wings with baking powder, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until evenly coated in a thin, dusty film.
  3. Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C). Arrange the wings in the basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not touch.
  4. Lightly spritz the wings with avocado oil spray and cook for 15 minutes, shaking the basket or flipping the wings halfway through.
  5. Increase the air fryer temperature to 400°F (205°C) and cook for an additional 5 minutes until the skin is deeply golden and blistered.
  6. Whisk together the hot sauce, melted butter, and Worcestershire sauce in a large bowl. Toss the crispy wings in the glaze and serve immediately.
