Ingredients:
- 2 lbs chicken wings, flats and drumettes separated
- 1 tbsp aluminum-free baking powder
- 1/2 tsp fine sea salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp avocado oil spray
- 1/3 cup Frank's RedHot hot sauce
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions:
- Pat the chicken wings bone-dry using paper towels to ensure all surface moisture is removed.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the wings with baking powder, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until evenly coated in a thin, dusty film.
- Preheat air fryer to 380°F (193°C). Arrange the wings in the basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not touch.
- Lightly spritz the wings with avocado oil spray and cook for 15 minutes, shaking the basket or flipping the wings halfway through.
- Increase the air fryer temperature to 400°F (205°C) and cook for an additional 5 minutes until the skin is deeply golden and blistered.
- Whisk together the hot sauce, melted butter, and Worcestershire sauce in a large bowl. Toss the crispy wings in the glaze and serve immediately.
