Ingredients:
- 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into ½-inch thick fries (approx. 700g/1.5 lbs)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (30ml)
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (5ml)
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder (2.5ml)
- ½ teaspoon onion powder (2.5ml)
- ½ teaspoon sea salt (2.5ml), or to taste
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper (1.25ml), or to taste
Instructions:
- Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into evenly sized fries. Consistency is key for even cooking!
- In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato fries with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Make sure every fry gets a good coating.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) if your model requires it. Arrange the sweet potato fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook in batches to avoid overcrowding.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the fries are tender and golden brown, with slightly crispy edges. Keep an eye on them – air fryers can vary!
- Remove the fries from the air fryer and serve hot. Enjoy your air fryer sweet potato fries!
