Ingredients:
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened (225g)
- 1 cup mayonnaise (240ml)
- 1 cup sour cream (240ml)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (115g)
- 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese (55g)
- 1/2 cup chopped pickled jalapeños (50g), plus extra for garnish
- 4 ounces canned green chilies, drained and chopped (115g)
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (30g), plus extra for garnish
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (5ml)
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder (2.5ml)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (1.25ml)
- Optional: Cooked and crumbled bacon (about 4 strips), for added flavor
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream. Beat until smooth and creamy.
- Stir in the cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, jalapeños, green chilies, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. If using bacon, stir that in too.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish or oven-safe skillet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and golden brown around the edges.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with extra jalapeños and green onions.
- Serve warm with your favorite chips, crackers, or vegetables. This is one of the best dips for chips.
