Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (120ml) sour cream
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) red wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) fresh dill, chopped
- 1 teaspoon (4g) granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon (1g) garlic powder
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 2 large English cucumbers (approximately 1 lb or 450g), thinly sliced
- 1/4 medium red onion, thinly sliced
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the sour cream, red wine vinegar, chopped dill, sugar, and garlic powder. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the thinly sliced cucumbers and red onion to the bowl with the dressing.
- Toss the cucumber and onion mixture with the dressing until everything is evenly coated.
- For best results, cover the bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes before serving.
- Serve chilled and enjoy!
