Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (120ml) sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon (4g) granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1g) garlic powder
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 large English cucumbers (approximately 1 lb or 450g), thinly sliced
  • 1/4 medium red onion, thinly sliced

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the sour cream, red wine vinegar, chopped dill, sugar, and garlic powder. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Add the thinly sliced cucumbers and red onion to the bowl with the dressing.
  3. Toss the cucumber and onion mixture with the dressing until everything is evenly coated.
  4. For best results, cover the bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes before serving.
  5. Serve chilled and enjoy!
