Ingredients:
- 1 cup Rolled Oats (Old-Fashioned)
- 1 cup Milk (Dairy or Non-Dairy)
- 1/4 cup Plain Greek Yogurt (2% or higher)
- 1 tablespoon Chia Seeds
- 1–2 tablespoons Maple Syrup or Honey
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
- 1 small pinch Fine Sea Salt
Instructions:
- Combine the milk, Greek yogurt, maple syrup (or honey), and vanilla extract into a medium mixing bowl or directly into the jar(s). Whisk briefly until the yogurt and sweetener are thoroughly incorporated and the mixture is smooth.
- Add the rolled oats, chia seeds, ground cinnamon, and the essential pinch of fine sea salt to the wet mixture. Stir vigorously for 30–60 seconds, ensuring that all the dry ingredients are fully submerged and the chia seeds are evenly distributed. This prevents the oats from clumping.
- If using a bowl, divide the mixture evenly into two airtight jars. If mixing directly in the jars, top with a lid. Seal the jars tightly and place them in the refrigerator for a minimum of 8 hours, or preferably overnight.
- The next morning, open the jar and check the consistency. The mixture should be thick and creamy. If it appears too thick, stir in 1–2 tablespoons of extra milk. Top with your chosen fresh fruit, nuts, or a final drizzle of maple syrup and serve chilled directly from the jar.
